Title: Informatica Consultants

Our client is looking for an experienced Informatica consultant in Melbourne for a large client. Contract or perm positions available.

Any consultants with experience in either IDQ module and or BDM module experience are welcome to apply.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Requirement is for a data engineer/Technology Architect/Technology Lead who can cover all the aspects of design, development and testing and not just developer / build focused
• Should have experience in building reusable components using Informatica
• Should have experience in performance optimization , fine tune of batch etc
• Should have experience in building frameworks such as metadata based / error handling / recycling , reconciliation framework

Skills

• Experience with both Informatica PowerCenter and BDM 10.x
• In case of absence of BDM experience;should be extremely good at powercenter 10.x and have other bigdata skills (Hive, sqoop, spark, Java/Python, hadoop, etc.,)
• Evidence of building with dynamic mappings
• Shell scripting
• Evidence of building automated tests (CD:CI), Test driven development , Test automation , DevOps focus
• Experience in building re-usable components using Informatica
• Experience in performance optimization , fine tune of batch etc
• Experience in building frameworks such as metadata based - error handling/restartability/reprocessing, reconciliation frameworks, Audit trails, etc
